We are delighted to announce that from July 1st, 2016, Azelis is appointed global distributor of AnQore’s acrylonitrile in drums. Under this agreement, AnQore will transfer all existing acrylonitrile in drums business to Azelis. Azelis will continue to serve AnQore’s current customers for acrylonitrile in drums and will further develop the business.
Since 1969 AnQore has been manufacturing acrylonitrile at the Chemelot Industrial Park in Sittard-Geleen (The Netherlands). Acrylonitrile is an essential building block used on a large scale for the production of durable materials (for example ABS/SAN for cars, household goods and medical devices), high-performance materials (for example carbon fibre for cars, planes and windmills) and functional materials (for example polyacrylamide for enhanced oil recovery, mining and waste water treatment). Acrylonitrile is used on a smaller scale by customers involved in the manufacturing of resins, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates.
